NZGDC 2016

Whilst the conference is over for 2016, we promise to be back and better than ever in 2017!

New Zealand’s premier game development event – the New Zealand Game Developers Conference – was bigger and better than ever on Thursday and Friday, 8th & 9th September 2016 at Auckland University of Technology.

#NZGDC16 was an action-packed two-day conference for professional and indie game developers. It’s a professional quality industry conference akin to GDC, but for Kiwis talking to Kiwis about making games from New Zealand.

Sessions covered art, animation, game design, programming, networking, storytelling, production, marketing and more. This year’s conference was a full two days long with a mix of presentations, panels and hands-on workshops.
