About NZGDC 2017
New Zealand’s premier game development event – the New Zealand Game Developers Conference – is returning this year on the 6th-8th September, with plans underway to make it bigger and better than ever!
#NZGDC17 will be an action-packed three-day conference for professional and indie game developers. It’s a professional quality industry conference akin to GDC, right here in NZ.
Sessions will cover art, game design, programming, narrative, production, business, marketing and more. This year’s conference is growing to three days with one day dedicated to hands-on workshops (6th Sept), and two days full of a mix of presentations and panels (7th-8th Sept).
Luck By Design
We often hear stories of “overnight success” in our industry. This year's theme, Luck By Design, aims to demystify this idea and focus on success as a result of careful planning and focused work, with a little bit of luck sprinkled on top. Get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the techniques and approaches that can help you achieve your goals
